Fiber pads like our wool cutting pads will cut faster than any brand of foam cutting pad, this is the upside or benefit to a fiber pad. The downside is anytime you cut with a fiber pad, (any brand), the same feature that provides increased cutting, which is individual fibers cutting into the paint surface, also leaves deeper marring of the surface. Sandwox's Wool Buffing Pad, when used with rotary polishers, provides the fastest and most effective solution for removing sanding marks, deep swirls, scratches, oxidation, and water spots. The fibers in wool cutting pads act as abrasives themselves, offering their own cutting capabilities. When combined with the abrasives in your chosen cutting compound, you have two types of abrasives working together for a powerful effect. The rotary polisher, with its single-direction, direct drive or gear-driven mechanism, ensures no pad stalling. This makes it the fastest and most efficient method for removing sanding marks or other significant paint defects, using a wool pad, cutting compound, and rotary polisher.

The sheered lambswool undergoes multiple processes step to create the perfect all-natural lambswool cutting pad.Because of our proprietary treating process, our wool buffing pad will also outlast all other wool buffing pads. And because of the uniform pile resulting from the complex treatment process, our wool buffing pads will leave a more shallow hologram pattern than other wool pads.

When do you use it?
Our Wool Buffing Pads are used as the first paint correction step after sanding. They are also the first step in a multiple-step paint correction process to remove or level deep swirls, scratches, water spots and oxidation. Any wool pad step should always be followed with a foam pad step to ensure there are no holograms left behind from the fibers of the wool pad.
